Most commonly laid in herringbone, this format delivers movement and detail while maintaining a refined architectural outcome. Planks Explained Planks refer to stone that has been formed into uniform rectangular pieces, typically in a 600 × 150 mm format. Each piece is finished with a rolled edge to enhance variation and create a softer, more handcrafted appearance.
